Rebuild Upstate announces 2025 board members and leadership team
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Rebuild Upstate has elected new board officers and members for the upcoming year.
The new officers are Kathy Hodges as board chair; Rob Schmidt as vice-chair and governance chair, Nick Smith as finance chair, and Lura Godfrey as the engagement chair. All four team members have been actively working and volunteering throughout the Upstate communities for multiple years and will bring that experience to their new roles.
Hodges is the Managing Attorney of local law office Law Offices of Kathleen Hodges. Schmidt is a Shareholder & Director of Furman Capital Advisors. Smith is a mortgage banker at First Palmetto Bank. Godfrey is the co-owner and priat LMG Architects.
In addition, Rebuild Upstate voted in two new board members Kady Jacobs, owner of Anger Management of the Upstate, and Chris Simcoe, district manager of The Starbucks Coffee Company.
“We are confident that these new leaders and members will help us achieve our 2025 goals,” said Jake Beaty, Rebuild Upstate’s CEO. “Our team is a combination of active people within Upstate communities and we are excited to see what we can accomplish together.”
