Things to Know Before You Apply
Prepare for Submitting Your Application
- Please make sure you meet the Eligibility Requirements before applying.
- You’ll need the ability to upload documents or pictures to the application. You can do this on most smartphones.
- Along with documents, you’ll need your photo ID accessible.
- Be sure to have proof of income as we cannot process applications without this.
- Try to avoid submitting multiple applications to the same program unless your current application has been processed.
- Allow yourself 30 – 60 minutes to complete the application.

- You can view your application status by logging into your account
- Rebuild Upstate works on a first come, first served basis.
- We will contact you by email once your application has been processed.
- You will receive a call to schedule a visit before proceeding with any repairs.
- Rebuild Upstate cannot guarantee you’ll receive the repairs you’ve applied for.
- If you are denied, you will be notified by email. You can reapply the following calendar year.
Program Application
Once you visit our application portal, you will need to either create a new account or log in with your credentials. While we offer multiple programs, there is only one, universal application. Please only submit one application.
Once you complete your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email. All applications must be completed before consideration. If questions aren’t completed, we cannot consider your application.
