Rebuild Upstate may be able to provide a temporary ramp for you. Please indicate your need for a temporary ramp in your application. Temporary ramps are the property of Rebuild Upstate and will be re-used for future homeowners who need them.

Rebuild Upstate will assist renters with accessibility modifications only. It is the responsibility of the landlord to complete repairs necessary to keep the home safe for their tenants.

We work with funding partners who can pay for materials. Private donors help fund other essential program costs such as staff time, trucks and tools, and volunteer management.

Rebuild Upstate uses Volunteers, Staff, and sometimes subcontractors to complete repairs.

Some tasks are not well suited for volunteer activities or we do not have volunteers in certain areas. In these situations, we will hire subcontractors to perform the repairs. When hiring subcontractors, the funding does not go as far as doing the repairs with volunteers.
