The Upstate has a culture of supporting one another. We love when local companies let us be part of giving back.
Alpha Omega and Owens Corning teamed up to provide a Pickens County homeowner with a new roof. Owens Corning Shingles provided shingles and Alpha Omega provided remaining materials and labor for the project.
According to James Tharett, marketing manager for Alpha Omega, the company is no stranger to serving the communities where they work. He said, “Community outreach projects like Rebuild Upstate are not new to Alpha Omega… from No Roof Left Behind to Habitat for Humanity, from Roofs for Troops to countless sponsorship’s of youth sports organizations across the Southeast, Alpha Omega Construction Group is no stranger to helping out wherever they can… We help protect homes, that’s what a roof is… the first and last line of defense in protecting your belongings and family. It only makes sense to be involved in the neighborhoods and communities we roof in.”
Thanks again to Alpha Omega and Owens Corning for their generous donation!
There are currently 1,064 homeowners on Rebuild Upstate’s waiting list.
