Volunteers from Creative Builders recently participated in a sponsored build day with Rebuild Upstate. Not only did this group bring their construction background and knowledge on site, but they fully funded the projects that were completed on this house. This project included the renovation of a bathroom, siting and windows around the home.
“At Creative Builders, we believe we’ve been blessed to be a blessing,” said Lauren Greco, Director of Coworkers and Culture at Creative Builders. “Partnering with Rebuild Upstate gave our coworkers the opportunity to come alongside our neighbors with our construction expertise and also gave us the opportunity to show people they are seen and valued. We don’t just build buildings; we are Building a Better Tomorrow…Today!”
Anna Musselwhite, RSVP Project Director, noticed the commitment and drive this team had to finish the project. “Creative Builders went above and beyond to show up for this homeowner. The construction knowledge they had truly helped the project move along smoothly. I am thankful I got to witness the hard work that this time had to display.”
Nearly half of the projects completed by our program last year were sponsored by local businesses or community groups like Creative Builders. These sponsors bring both the necessary funds and the volunteer power to complete critical repairs. When local organizations choose to invest their time and resources back into the community, they provide more than just a repair—they provide stability for a neighbor in need.
“Creative Builders partnered with Rebuild Upstate because they provided us with the opportunity to serve our community in a meaningful and rewarding way,” said Derek Ryan, a Project Manager at Creative Builders. “The Upstate community has blessed us over the years and it is nice to have the opportunity to bless someone in return.”
The Creative Builders team strives to give their time and resources to the local Greenville community. They want to give back and support the communities that they help build.
