Community Organizations Honored during National Volunteer Appreciation Week
Throughout Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 16th – 22nd, 2023, Rebuild Upstate honors volunteers and entities for their commitment and service.
Three awards are awarded annually to businesses, churches, or other community partners. A third honor, the Sustaining Sponsor, is based on the level of funding support. A blog recognizing individuals for their service will be posted on Thursday.
Home Repair Champion Award
Awarded to Greenville Women Giving
The Home Repair Champion Award is presented to a team whose significant financial contributions continue to impact affordable housing in the Upstate.
The generous donors of Greenville Women Giving are our Home Repair Champions. These incredible women generously granted Rebuild Upstate $50k in 2017 and $100k in 2022 to repair more homes across the Upstate – a truly transformative gift. We are grateful for their investment in our home repair program and the many other worthy causes they support in Upstate, South Carolina.
Ambassador Award
Awarded to Prime Realty
The Ambassador Award is awarded to an advocate who shares our mission with others. Their effort builds new relationships and opportunities critical to our mission.
We are honored to be a “Prime Purpose” partner to Prime Realty. Utilizing its own platform to broadcast the Rebuild Upstate story, Prime Realty has helped Rebuild Upstate engage with more community members and facilitate more support for our mission. Not only this, Prime employees have swung hammers on sites and served on our advisory council! Prime Realty is a great ambassador to our organization and a champion for homeowners needing safe housing.
