Community Organizations Honored during National Volunteer Appreciation Week

Throughout Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 17th – 23rd, 2022, Rebuild Upstate honors volunteers and entities for their commitment and service.

Two awards are awarded annually to businesses, churches, or other community partners. A third honor, the Sustaining Sponsor, is based on level of funding support.

Home Repair Champion Award

Awarded to Greenville Housing Fund

The Home Repair Champion award is presented to a team whose significant financial contributions continue to impact affordable housing in the upstate.

Since it’s inception, The Greenville Housing Fund has supported Rebuild Upstate, funding the completion of projects at almost 30 homes to date, and demonstrating their heart for ensuring that homeowners receive all of the repairs that they need. Their collaborative spirit makes our work easier. With 1,100 homes on the waiting list, and many of those in Greenville, the funding and advocacy done by the Greenville Housing Fund is critical to repairing more homes for low-income homeowners and their families.
