Chaela Johnson promoted to Program Logistics Manager
Greenville, SC — Rebuild Upstate is pleased to announce the promotion of Chaela Johnson to Program Logistics Manager. In this leadership role, Chaela will oversee program logistics to ensure the seamless coordination of home repair projects that make homes safer, healthier, and more livable for low-income neighbors across the Upstate.
The Program Logistics Manager serves as a key operational leader, responsible for securing funding approvals, managing repair schedules, ordering materials, coordinating build days, submitting reimbursements, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
Since joining Rebuild Upstate, Chaela has demonstrated a deep commitment to the mission. She has grown the Handyman Club (a critical volunteer program), improved scheduling efficiencies, and contributed to record-breaking repairs year over year.
In this expanded role, Johnson will strengthen internal systems, enhance project tracking accuracy, maximize funding utilization, and support cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects move efficiently from approval to completion.
“Chaela is an integral leader on our team, and her contributions have allowed us to expand our programs while keeping the homeowner experience at the center of everything we do,” said Jake Beaty, CEO of Rebuild Upstate. “Her operational excellence, commitment to our mission, and steady leadership make our organization stronger every day. I’m confident our community and funding partners will continue to be proud to work alongside her in this expanded role.”
The Program Logistics Manager plays a critical role in advancing Rebuild Upstate’s mission to repair homes for low-income neighbors, helping older adults, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families remain safely in the homes they love.
Please join us in congratulating Chaela Johnson on this well-deserved promotion.
